Reviews
Amazing restaurant and amazing view. The staff are super nice.
Highly recommended to visit.
The outside place is so nice by the water, you can watch the boats too🥰😍.
The drinks were so good.
The staff English speakers too.
It worth it. I recommend the restaurant.
We had deconstructed steak sandwich and chicken club. Both were delicious. Nice interior atmosphere. Recommend.
I have asked for "bitterballen", the typical Dutch dish that can range from really good, like in upper class restaurants (mostly real tasteable meat (pulled beef) inside with a bit of stew-like thick sauce) to horrible (mostly stew-like thick sauce with small itty-bitty pieces of cube shaped microwave-like "meat") in fast food places. To my surprise, the bitterballen here were the horrible category! For this otherwise posh, classy and expensive restaurant with miniscule size but super tasty dishes, I never would have thought to get such below average bitterballen! But this was not all! They served the bitterballen with the usual mustard (this comes with it always!) ecxept it was such a small amount of mustard that by the 4th bitterballen, there was nothing left. So I asked for a bit more mustard to be able to finish these miserable balls of warm snotlike stew encased in some deep fried breadcrumbs. Never in the world did I think that they would have the nerve to then charge me €1 for 0.5 g of mustard that belongs with the dish!!! You can buy an entire 400 g of good quality mustard at the store for €1!! I feel totally ripped off as these horrific bitterballen were already €9! You can get an entire meal almost for that amount. To have the nerve to charge for the extra mustard when in the first place a tiny amount came with the dish is just the kind of greedy that I never thought a classy place like Le Brasseur would ever do. This is mindless and Le Brasseur just lost its credibility and good customer service as far as I'm concerned. All in all, I had this horrific snack and 2 beers and ended up paying more than €23 !!!
Exceptional and always very delicious haute cuisine. In summer you can enjoy the sunset on their terrace. Friendliness of staff sometimes varies and could be more consistent. Nevertheless, I’ll always enjoyed each visit.
Beautiful location, classic food.
Celebrated our 25th anniversary here! Everything was delicious! Will be an amazing spot in Summer as they have seating outside on the dock! Loved it!
Very nice place, was able to get a table for 2 relative last minute. Food was good, but the mashed potato could use some 'spice'. Decent selection of wines and reasonable price.
Staff friendly but attention waned away during the evening, which shouldn't be necessary. Waitress did recognize us from previous time 😀.
Nice area to walk around a bit before or after dinner, plenty of free parking around.
Went for lunch and had the beef and truffel risotto. Risotto was perfect. The beef was also very nice. Ambiance is very nice. It has also an outdoor setting over the canal. Wine selection is fine. Very friendly staff. Will definitely visit again given Maarssen is a very nice town itself
